Michaela Kročáková born in Jindrichuv Hradec 1984

She has been photographing for 4 years. Ever since she had been inspired by the South bohemian scenery which she has devoted throughout her work. Big part of her work is self-portrait outdoors. Her work is mostly made on the original black and white film rolls and enlarged by hand. She also has been making photographs for her own reportages which were published in well-known magazines.
In 2011 she took part, along with more than 500 photographers, in Czech photo competition Základní Instinkt which was held by Czech magazine Instinkt and by photoserver Fotopatracka.cz. Professional jury headed by the photographer Robert Vano and by the founder of Czech Press Photo - Daniela Mrázková has finally chosen Michaela's self-portrait as the best act of the year.
